About Us

     So this is me and my son Ben.  A little dirty after climbing out from underneath the hood, but none the worse for wear.  In the fall of 2020, with a huge amount of encouragement from my wife, we decided that a great father - son project would be for us to restore a car that I loved from my youth (thank you Jim Rockford and Smokey and The Bandit!)  A car that Ben fell in love with as well: 

a 1978 Pontiac Firebird Trans Am

Now, I am by no shot an expert at classic car restoration.  I am a novice at best on a good day, but can hold my own on when it comes to figuring things out.  That, coupled with Ben's youthful ambition, energetic drive, willingness to learn, and our combined passion for the car itself, will hopefully be enough to propel us forward to completing our build and having a great father-son experience doing it!
